For the past couple of years I have been unable to give the TBJ library, and Good Reads, the attention they need and deserve. Since I will be returning to school in the fall after a year’s absence, to finally finish my course work and thesis, the library’s prospects for attention did not seem to be improving. To my great relief, a rescuer has appeared on the horizon; the perfect person has volunteered to do the job! Thank you, Rosanne Fisch, for stepping into the breach. Please reward Rosanne’s selfless act by returning your library books, thanking her profusely, giving her book suggestions, and offering to help. Much needs to be done to process book donations, keep things in shape, and go after deadbeats! (That last was an empty threat: we don’t threaten here, we plead. Please, please return your books so others can enjoy them.) I’ve had a great time indulging (or is it imposing?) my literary tastes as librarian. Thanks for putting up with me.
