“Who Will Remain - A Holocaust Reflection,” A special Yom HaShoah Commemoration
Monday, May 6, 2024 • 28 Nisan 5784
7:00 PM - 8:00 PMTBJ and Live-Stream
This innovative program presents a collage of poetry, music and documented history immersing the listener in a particular time and place in history. Connecting to the universality of human emotions, the audience experiences the spoken recollection of a Holocaust survivor in a deep and personal way.
Following the performance, Rabbi Robin Nafshi will lead a commemorative candle lighting service and Dr. Kate DeConinck, Director of the Cohen Center for Genocide and Holocaust Studies will moderate a discussion with the artists and community faith leaders.
This program is open to the public and free thanks to the generous support of The Lantos Foundation, The Jewish Federation of NH, Temple Beth Jacob, The Cohen Center for Genocide and Holocaust Studies and Greater Concord Interfaith Council.
The event will be held at Temple Beth Jacob, 67 Broadway, Concord, NH. For planning purposes, please register by emailing office@tbjconcord.org or calling (603) 228-8581.
