It is that time of the year again, as winter turns to (an early?) spring, that the TBJ Purimshpielers prepare once again to lift the spirits of the community with our rendering of the story of Queen Esther in musical comedy form. This year is the 26th year of the Temple Beth Jacob show and we are proud to present another original script, "The Megillah According To Queen: We Will Rock You!", a raucous and rowdy retelling of the Purim story (The Megillah) loosely following the music and activities of Freddie Mercury and the groundbreaking British rockers of the 1990s. More than 40 members of the cast, orchestra, and crew are ready to take you on a biblical ride! You just gotta see it!

For those of you who prefer to watch the show from the comfort of your own home, there will be a simulcast of the Saturday March 18 8PM production available. Of course, it won't have the ruach (spirit) of the live event, but the cast will feel and appreciate your support.

Tickets for the simulcast cost $18.00 per person.

If you've seen a previous TBJ Purimshpiel, you know what we’re talkin' 'bout! But even if you're just a 'Shpiel "virgin", we really hope you can join us this year and help celebrate once again the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness - and have some fun!
