SNAP and WIC Info
SNAP and WIC benefits are being interrupted, but this doesn’t mean that families and individuals in need of food assistance can’t get the aid they need. Your local food pantry can provide groceries to those in need, including non-perishable and fresh food, and may also offer non-food essentials like hygiene products and diapers. Beyond direct food assistance, many pantries offer other resources such as nutrition education, emergency aid, referrals to other programs, and sometimes even clothing or school supplies.
To find the food pantry closest to you, you can use NH Food Bank’s Food Map: https://nhfoodbank.org/find-food/food-map/
Along with this
- WIC participants can continue to receive benefits and food balances on the WIC Shopper app or by calling 1-855-279-0680.
- SNAP recipients can check their EBT card balances at ebtedge.com or 1-888-997-9777.
- DHHS encourages SNAP recipients to use up whatever is in their account by the end of day Friday.
