Join Adult Ed and Social Action on Sunday, November 23rd at 1pm to read and discuss the book Rough Sleepers by Tracy Kidder (author of Mountains Beyond Mountains).   Kidder chronicles the lives (and deaths) of unhoused people in Boston through the work of Dr. Jim O'Connell and his street outreach team.  

We will gather in the TBJ kitchen at 1pm to make a pot of "Stone Soup". Bring a dairy or parve ingredient to add to the pot or something to eat with the soup (for the safety of those with food allergies and sensitivities, please list all ingredients).

At about 1:30 we will discuss the book while our soup simmers.  When it is ready we will share our pot of soup and brainstorm ways to support our local unhoused community.
