 This summer and fall will usher in an exciting presidential election year.  The NH primary may have passed, but there are still primaries coming up in other states where it is important to Get Out the Vote for the down ballot races for the House, Senate, many state races and of course for the November 2024 Election. 

 The TBJ Social Action Committee is pleased to offer an opportunity to support the Get Out the Vote Campaign for 2024 by participating in Postcarding with Reclaim Our Vote, a program of the Religious Action Center of the URJ.  Reclaim Our Vote has identified states in 2024 to target. These states all have a significant population of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals but have low voter participation in these communities due to voter suppression.

Postcard writing will take place between now and October, 2024.

Postcard kits ordered starting on April 18 will be for voters in Virginia and will need to be mailed between April 26 and June 3.

TBJ is fortunate to have one of our newest members, Debbie Harris, ready and willing to coordinate our work.  Debbie brought  this work to her previous congregation and we will benefit from her knowledge and skills.

If you want to participate and can't make the meeting please email Debbie Harris at witchdeb@gmail.com to let her know how many postcards you can commit to writing and mailing.  The postcards are provided and you provide the stamps and the power of a handwritten note to voters.
